Join MOSAIC in celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr. Day as a National Day of Service. We will be gathering on Zoom to build community by writing letters of hope to fellow New Yorkers who are clients of the NYC Food Bank.
The activity is open to students and parents of all ages. Everyone will need writing/drawing paper and envelopes. Remote families will receive instructions for mailing their letters in a packet to the Food Bank; in-person students will receive instructions for dropping their letter packets off at HCCS on 94th St.
We are also gathering resources and info about service activities to honor MLK, Jr. Day as well as throughout Black History month. If you have any ideas or connections, please reach out to parent Ron Briggs (rbriggs@barnard.edu).
